Our Story

Proma and Rahat’s story starts before either of them could even spell their names. Long before preschool, two little children crossed paths while their families made the usual busy preparations for a brand-new chapter of life — neither of them knowing they had just seen the person they would one day marry.

Fast forward to 2013, when they met again at coaching. Rahat will tell anyone who asks that Proma was his first crush. Proma, soft-spoken and quiet, didn’t return the feeling — at least not then. So Rahat did what writers do: he wrote, and he waited.

In 2015, they finally started dating. Somewhere along the way they also became best friends — the kind who talk every single day, about the good things and the bad, and always find their way back to each other.

From 2020, they started taking bigger risks together. They did a lot, moved to Japan, and learned to navigate a whole new life side by side.

And now, in 2026, they are getting married. There is so much more to this story — and we will keep writing it here.
